*If your insurance provider is not on this list, we will be happy to offer a visit at our self pay price and provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance to attempt to receive reimbursement. We continue to work with insurance to provide access to care for all families.
Prenatal Breastfeeding Consultation
Prenatal breastfeeding consultations are the best way to get breastfeeding off to a great start. Whether you have never breastfed, had previous breastfeeding challenges or just need a refresher, these visits will help prepare you to be confident in your feeding choices when your baby arrives.
about your visit
All prenatal visits take place in our Rockledge office. Visits last approximately 1 hour.
During the visit we will discuss your breastfeeding/lactation plans, concerns and goals. We will also comprehensively review your health history, discuss the basics of breastfeeding and/or pumping, review how to assemble and operate your chosen breast pump and measure for proper flange sizing. All appointments are customized to meet your personal needs. Insurance accepted.

Breastfeeding &
infant feeding Consultation
Consultations take place in our Rockledge office. Home visits are also available for babies 21 days or less, within our service area.
All visits are personalized to meet you and your families needs. Your comprehensive visit includes: a physical exam of you and your baby, observation of a breastfeeding session, a weighted feed (to see how much baby transfers at the breast), a functional oral exam for baby, and your specific concerns addressed.

At Space Coast Lactation, we know that breastfeeding and infant feeding looks different for every family. That is why we support families who are exclusively feeding at the breast, exclusively pumping, combo feeding (breastmilk and formula) bottle feeding, using donor milk, supplementation and inducing lactation.

Home visit: $250 (initial); $225 (follow-up)

Telehealth Consultations
Virtual/telehealth consultations are available via any electronic device (phone, laptop or tablet) using a secure platform.
